一、教学目的

1、能用句型“Youll find in 来描述不同国家的景点。

2、能理解Cartoon time内容,并灵活运用将来时描述自己的旅行计划。

3、通过卡通学习,能体会故事的幽默,培养学生对英语的喜爱之情。

二、教学重点:

1、 能掌握并说出不同国家的景点。

2、 能理解、会读、会表演Cartoon time内容。

三、教学难点:

1、 能理解并正确读出景点名:

Uluru, the Grand Canyon, Buckingham Palace, Niagara Falls.

2、 能熟练运用一般将来时描述自己的旅行计划

四、教学准备

1、教具准备:PPT, 四张彩色风景图片

2、教学准备:学生预习, exercise paper

3、板书准备:课题,简笔画(a book

五、教学过程

Step 1 Free talk

1Show learning aims.

2Greetings.

1T: What day is it today

What’s the date today?

2T: Two months later, it will be our summer holiday.

复习Grammar time句型:

Where will … go for the summer holiday?

When will … go there?

Will … go there by …?

How long will … go for the summer holiday?

What will … do there?

(教师用you来提问一男生和一女生,再用heshe来提问,让其他同学回答。)

Step 2 Culture time

1Show a travel book.

TWell, boys and girls, I want to go abroad(出国)this summer holiday. Last night I read a book called National Geographic. It is a travel book.teach

2Review different countries in the world.

3Brain storm: Different places in different countries.

回顾Unit6 Culture time景点,同时回忆学生孰知的国家景点。

4Learn four new scenic spots from the book.

1Show four national flags: the UK, the USA, Australia, Canadateach

2Try to match

   出示四个景点和英语地点名,两人一组,讨论并试着连一连。

3Read culture time after the tape.

4Try to say

学生看图,试着用You’ll find _______ in _______.句型说一说。

Step 3 Cartoon time

1Let’s guess

T: Bobby is reading a travel book, too. What’s his dream(梦想)?

   S: Bobby wants to …

   T: Look, Bobby wants to be travellerteach.

   T: He wants to travel around the world. (环游世界)

    (出示图片,帮助学生理解新词组。)

2Look and say

T: Bobby is talking about his travel plans with Sam.

T: What are Bobby’s plans(计划)?

(学生看图,用句型He will go…来说一说)

   T: Here’s a tip for you. (当你想表达事情发生的先后顺序时,你可说:First,…Next,… Then,…

   T: Now if you are Bobby, please use “…, I’ll go…” to describe your own travel plans.

3Think and say

T: Why does Bobby want to go to these countries?

PPT给出提示,学生四人一组,讨论Bobby想去这些国家的原因。)

4Watch and find

T: How will they get there?

   S: They will go there by taxi.

   T: Can they get there by taxi?

   S: No, they can’t. It's far away from their country.

5Let’s read

1Read after the tape.

   Choose one way to act as you like.
