Step 1 Greetings

1.Play a game:say out the words.
T:Take one letter in each word.Here’s festivla.（teach festival）
Lead in the title.Today we’ll learn U7 Chinese Festivals（出示板书）
Step 2 Presentation
1. T:Do you know any Chinese Festivals?
Show the festivals.
Teach the four festivals.
2. watch and match:watch the story and match the pictures.
3. Read and answer.
Passage 1：Read passage 1,underline the key sentences and words,use different marks.
Check the answers:Teach January February
T:The Spring festival is in January and February,people get together and eat dumplings.
4. Read in groups:
Passage 2:Work in groups,use the same way to learn passage 2.

T:Our Chinese traditinal festivals which is usually full of fun stand for not only reunion of the family and blessing for relatives and friends,but also missing for the people passing away.And more and more western festivals come into our life.For examples:Christmas,Halloween,Easter and so on.We can do many interesting thing at these festivals.So they are all our festivals.
