教材分析
本课以六上第五单元Signs的Story time为教学语篇。语篇的中心话题是“标志”。语篇共分四个片段，课文人物分别在大场景——购物中心和小场景——果汁店、书店和餐馆中，通过对话，谈论标志的含义，告知应该做什么或不应该做什么，从而让学生更多地认识标志，更好地遵守标志，做遵守公共法规和秩序的小公民。
学情分析
由于本课谈论的话题“标志”与我们学生的生活密切相关，所以，学生对于文中计划要掌握的标志的图案是熟悉的，教学中，可以补充一些标志，满足学生的认知需求。同时，需要创设语境，让学生在具体的语境中积极地询问标志的英文表达，以及它们的含义。
教学目标
知识目标：
1.能听懂、会说、会读单词：signs, mean, litter, around, careful, restaurant, shopping centre, someone, floor, smoke, go in, take…into；
2.能听懂、会说、会读句型：What does it mean?It means you can’t…；
No littering/smoking/eating or drinking/parking/swimming/climbing/Wet floor…
3.能正确朗读、理解课文内容。
能力目标：能运用所学的句型和日常用语进行交流。
情感目标：懂得标志给我们的生活带来便利，遵守标志是一种道德和义务。
教学重点
