教材分析
本课以六上第五单元SignsStory time为教学语篇。语篇的中心话题是“标志”。语篇共分四个片段,课文人物分别在大场景——购物中心和小场景——果汁店、书店和餐馆中,通过对话,谈论标志的含义,告知应该做什么或不应该做什么,从而让学生更多地认识标志,更好地遵守标志,做遵守公共法规和秩序的小公民。
学情分析
    由于本课谈论的话题“标志”与我们学生的生活密切相关,所以,学生对于文中计划要掌握的标志的图案是熟悉的,教学中,可以补充一些标志,满足学生的认知需求。同时,需要创设语境,让学生在具体的语境中积极地询问标志的英文表达,以及它们的含义。
教学目标
知识目标:
1.能听懂、会说、会读单词:signs, mean, litter, around, careful, restaurant, shopping centre, someone, floor, smoke, go in, take…into
2.能听懂、会说、会读句型:What does it mean?It means you can’t…
No littering/smoking/eating or drinking/parking/swimming/climbing/Wet floor…
3.能正确朗读、理解课文内容。
能力目标:能运用所学的句型和日常用语进行交流。
情感目标:懂得标志给我们的生活带来便利,遵守标志是一种道德和义务。

Step 1 Preparation
1.      Free talk
Welcome back to my class!/Did you have a good time last weekend?/What did you do?
2.      I went to Xintiandi Park and took some photos there. Do you want to have a look?/What can you see in the photos?/What’s in Xintiandi Park?
3.      There are some signs in the park.(板书:Unit 5 Signs)
Step 2 Presentation and practice
T: In the park, we can see signs. Where can you see signs ,too?

T: Last Sunday, I went to Xintiandi Park.And I took photos there. How about them, Helen, Mike and Jim? Where did they go?
