五上Unit8 At Christmas 

(Story time)

【教学目标】:

基本知识:

1.能听懂、会读、会说、会写词汇:buy, next, put, look, early.

2.能听懂、会读、会说、会写句型与日常交际用语:First/Next/Then/Finally,…

3.能听懂、会读、会说词汇:Christmas, present, Christmas tree, Father Christmas, pretty, thing, Christmas Eve, stocking, wait for, finally, Christmas Day, turkey, pudding, all, have a good time.

基本技能:

1.培养学生的英语阅读能力,让学生了解学习英语小故事的步骤。

2.能用First/Next/Then/Finally,…一些列表示先后顺序的副词结构。

综合素质:

1.培养学生学习英语的兴趣,提高学生阅读英语故事的兴趣。

2.让学生了解西方圣诞节相关习俗,培养学生跨文化交际能力。

【教学过程】:

Step 1 Lead in

1. Enjoy a songWe wish you a merry Christmas

2. T: When is Christmas Day?

给出日历进行选择,学生根据已知进行判断,顺便教学Christmas Eve

3. TWhat do you know about Christmas?

   S: ...

   T: Quite good! We can see many things at Christmas. Lets have a look. Look, who is he?

   S: Father Christmas(进行教学)

   TYes, Father Christmas has a big bag. Can you guess whats in it?

   S:..

   T:(一个个进行展示,单词教学)

4.  TDo you like Christmas?

   S: Yes.

   T: I also like Christmas. People always have a lot of fun at Christmas.

   T: How about Mike and his family? Look at the four pictures, do they have a lot of fun Christmas?

   S:Yes.

  T: we can see that they do many things at Christmas, but what are their orders? Now lets watch the video and try to order.

Step 2 Presentation

1. Watch and order.

2. Look and match

T: Now you have know their orders, but when do these things happen? Lets match.

3. Listen and choose

T: well done! Now lets know what Mikes family do at Christmas. Listen, Mike is telling us what they do first. Please listen carefully and choose.

4. Read and judge

T: Mike says  Next, what do we do? Lets open the books and try to judge.

(当学生回答完第一个问题后,漂亮的东西可以出现了)T: Look, we put pretty things on the Christmas tree.

(当学生回答完第二个问题后,出现礼物)T: We put presents under the tree.

5. Look and say

T: it is Christmas Eve now. Look at the picture, what do we do then? Try to fill in blanks.

T: Finally, it is Christmas Day! Father Christmas gives presents. Can you guess who is the real Father Christmas?
